We provide advice on the full range of employment issues advising (i) employers from the financial services, sports, corporate, media, retail, education, visitor attractions and charity sectors and (ii) individual senior executives. We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and personable person to join our highly successful team in order to provide effective legal assistant support to fee-earners.
- Tribunal preparation, including disclosure, bundles and witness statements.
- Carry out legal research and case analysis in all areas of Employment law, using a variety of online and reference sources.
- Draft and proof-read legal documents and prepare written reports as requested.
- Methodically analyse and summarise complex issues; finding solutions and communicating them effectively.
- Provide support to fee-earners on cases through investigations, drafting, research and analysis.
- Assist fee-earners with researching, updating, editing and publishing books and articles as requested.
- Assist with the preparation of client training events.
- Assist other members of the team when preparing for client meetings.
- Attend client meetings, alongside other fee-earners and produce attendance notes as requested.
- Providing general administrative support as required to members of the team.
- Provide wider support and assistance to the team in particular during busy periods or periods of absence (e.g. assist in picking up calls, copying and general team support).

- Previous experience in a paralegal/ legal assistant position with an Employment focus, would be preferred.
- Strong academic background.
Open to talking flexibly. This role is suitable for individuals looking to work full time or four days per week across any working pattern.
The hours of work for this opportunity are 9:30am - 5:30pm but we would expect the candidate to be committed, flexible and prepared to work beyond the normal office hours if necessary and in response to client demand. The candidate will be expected to follow the firm’s agile working policy, which embraces home working but will require employees to spend a minimum number of days each week in the office.
