The Role
The academic knowledge required for this particular role is exclusive to the area of Healthcare Management.
The successful candidate will be involved in teaching and research/scholarly activities. The involvement in teaching entails a variety of settings, including small group tutorials/seminars and lectures; assessment; and the provision of pastoral and academic support to students, in addition to the preparation of high-class academic materials relevant to the MSc programmes. The involvement in research/scholarly activities includes our support in developing a solid research profile for the successful candidate with a clear research plan and trajectory relevant to the area of Healthcare Management.
Required Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be joining a growing team of academics with excellence in teaching postgraduate programmes, as well as burgeoning engagement and aspirations in producing impactful research and scholarly outputs.
Candidates will have expertise in teaching in areas of Healthcare Management at a postgraduate level. The successful candidates will be supported in cultivating an impactful research profile in relevant areas.
Candidates must hold a good, relevant first degree, or master’s degree. Holding a doctoral-level qualification (DBA/PhD) in relevant areas or near completion within one year is desirable/preferable. We also welcome applications from candidates who do not hold a doctoral-level qualification but have significant professional experience.
Candidates must hold a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (or willingness to undertake).
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a clear research plan, trajectory or aspiration toward their areas of research interest and the potential contribution.
