Picture Framing - we create bespoke picture frames and mounts to enhance our customers images, we stretch & frame canvasses, frame sports memorabilia from shirts to boots & repair and re-glaze damaged items to exceed our customers expectations.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have a practical and hands on approach to both work and on job training. They must have a flare for colour and design and enjoy helping customers advising them on frame and mount colours etc. The role involves working as part of a small team on a day to day basis to learn all aspects of the picture framing process. Initially the successful candidate will be trained on all aspects of quality control and our individual customer sales process. The role will involve working with/alongside our other associated businesses where necessary so the successful candidate will be an important part of the future growth of the business and as such must be willing to learn, have a natural affinity to strive for perfection and enjoy meeting and serving customers.
Whilst specific qualifications are not necessary a good standard of education to include English and Maths would be beneficial. A design/art qualification would be an advantage as the ability to advise customer choosing colours for frames and mounts is critical - an eye for colour is very important. . Some work experience would be helpful to demonstrate experience, team working skills, time keeping and a positive attitude to work and business.
Initially the pay will be minimum wage dependent on age with a review following a 3 month trial period. Working hours are around 20 per week to include some Saturday working. Full training will be provided.
