About the Role:
The Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine and Social Care offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including doctoral level studies. Our Provision includes Primary Education, Education Studies and Early Childhood Studies. Our dynamic approach ensures that our students receive a high quality, research-informed, educational experience. We have internationally excellent research in education, social work and social policy, and have a number of world-leading nursing and healthcare researchers in our faculty.
This post will include teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the School of Education and Social Care. You will also be expected to contribute to the supervision of research students and to the Department Research strategy.
We’re seeking an experienced education practitioner to join colleagues in our Education department in Chelmsford. You’ll support module delivery online and in the classroom on our Early Childhood Studies degree portfolio.
You’ll have a PhD or nearing completion, and successful teaching experience at HE level with a proven record of Research output and Publications. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and have the ability to think innovatively and be able to meet deadlines.
