We seek a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Design Engineering to be part of the ongoing growth of the Department of Engineering at Nottingham Trent University. You will be an inspiring educator with enthusiasm to teach Engineering students skills aligned with design engineering. Expertise could include but is not limited to the use of CAD, product development, design and human factors.
The Department of Engineering at NTU is characterised by an innovative approach to education in partnership with industry, emphasising innovation and project delivery on a foundation of core engineering expertise. The Department teach programmes from foundation to MSc level, in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sport Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. The Department is well-resourced with new facilities for teaching and research at Clifton Campus. In the recent REF (2021) results NTU Engineering received an overall GPA of 3.43, ranking it as a top15 university for engineering research in the UK. We seek a colleague able to contribute to the ongoing growth of the department in both research and teaching.
