Cambridge Regional College has an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer - Photography (Visual Communication) to join our Creative Industries team at our Cambridge Campus.
You will join us on a part-time basis (22 hours) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of between £17,129.08 - £21,146.16 pa (FTE £28,808 - £35,564 per annum) plus staff benefits.

About the role:
You will primarily teach in the Department of Creative Industries at the Cambridge Campus, across Arts and Design Levels 1-3. A specialism in Photography (Visual Communication) is preferred (May also be required to teach on other programmes at levels 1- 5 as the department grows and develops in line with market needs).
We have a dedicated Photography Dark Room, Digital Photography Studio and Cutting Room, and two Apple Mac Graphic Studios with Creative Suite Software. In addition to this, we have a Printmaking Room, Life Drawing Studio, and a Ceramics and Sculpture Room.
You will report to the Team Leader of Art and Design.
There is no line management responsibility within this role.
Agile working
This role requires you to work at the Cambridge Campus face-to-face with students.
What we are looking for in our role:
We would like you to have experience in delivering Photography to students in Levels 1 – 5 in Further Education.
A background in Photography and/or Graphic design is preferred.
You will need to have English and Maths grade C or above at Level 2/ GCSE/ O Level or equivalent Degree or Equivalent in a related subject.
It is preferred that you have a Full Cert Ed or PGCE teaching qualification or are willing to work towards it.
