The Vocational and Technical School at South Thames College are looking for a Lecturer in Performing Arts, who will have a specific brief on achieving excellence in teaching, learning, assessment, and creative innovation.
You will teach across the Creative Industries provision over a wide range of levels and take responsibility for providing course leadership and tutorial support as required. You will produce module study guides and schemes of work, monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification, and liaise with external verifiers/moderators as required.
Do you hold a degree or have relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject? Do you have excellent teaching skills and are recognised as a good or better teacher?

As our Lecturer in Performing Arts, you’ll have experience of successfully monitoring and supporting ‘at-risk’ learners to achieve or exceed their potential. You’ll have experience of working with Higher Education Partners and ideally have a thorough understanding of quality assurance and improvement processes and how these can be used to enhance the student experience.
Advanced voice and singing skills, directing, musical theatre skills, advanced research and professional practice skills and knowledge is highly desirable, but not essential.
