Job description
Pensans School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and versatile individual to become our Receptionist. The role of Receptionist involves being the first point of contact for all school visitors. You will also manage all telephone calls and queries, dealing with them yourself or re-directing as appropriate.
The role will also include some administrative and attendance duties. The role is dependent on experience and specific details will be finalised following interview. Applications are invited from individuals with good IT and communication skills who are able to be flexible and work well under pressure. The successful candidate will be reliable and be adept at managing competing priorities. Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential as full training and support will be provided.

You will need to be a good listener, acknowledge a range of difficult circumstances without judgement, be positive, calm and supportive in challenging situations and be the school’s ambassador at all times.
You will work in partnership with colleagues within Truro and Penwith Academy Trust schools.
