About the Role
The Department of Accounting and Finance is one of NBS’ five departments with 60+ academic colleagues covering a range of teaching and research at undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral levels including Accounting, Governance, FinTech, Sustainability, Finance and other related disciplines. With a mix of scholarly, practice based and research active staff up to professorial level, the department plans to expand over the next 5 years to meet successful student recruitment and continue enhancing its international research profile.
We are looking for a well-rounded academic at lecturer or senior lecturer who will excel in the field of Accounting and Finance and hold a relevant doctorate in accounting and/or finance (or awaiting viva) and/or have a professional qualification and experience from practice and higher education. You should have a positive attitude and wish to be part of forward-looking department, a great business school community and a caring university that prides itself on being an inclusive employer, with a strong reputation for developing colleagues and their potential.
In particular, we are looking for new colleagues with experience in one or more of the following specialisms:
- Management Accounting
- Taxation
- Corporate Finance
- Corporate Governance and Risk Management
- Sustainable Finance and/or Accounting
