Lecturer: Information Technology and Business

Location: HMP Long Lartin, South Littleton, Evesham, WR11 8TZ
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (Subject to experience)
Flexible Working: We welcome applications from those seeking flexible or part time hours
Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum
Apprenticeships: Development opportunities are available through Apprenticeship standards
Reporting To: Education Manager

Milton Keynes College is looking for an innovative and inspiring teacher of Information Technology and Business.

The is a full-time position across Monday to Friday with a blend of Business/Enterprise and IT skills being taught to learners to aid employment options on release. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be creating a positive learning experience for diverse groups of learners within the prison. As a Lecturer/Teacher, you will be delivering engaging Level 1 and 2 Business and Essential Digital Skills classes.

You will be helping learners to achieve qualifications they can use to gain employment whilst in custody and upon release. As well as qualifications, you will be supporting learners to build skills and confidence they can apply to other areas of daily life, education and employment. As an essential part of the learner’s journey, you can offer your skills and knowledge to guide them successfully through their courses.
