Job description

We are seeking an Embedded Software Developer with between 2-5+ years of proven experience in real time, embedded software engineering for a key and expanding client in their Edinburgh office.

The successful applicant will get the opportunity to be involved in the full development of our clients’ electronic systems. A chance to see your work from beginning through to manufacturing.

Skills / Experience:

C or C++ software skills.
Microsoft Visual Studio.
ARM (Keil) system development.
Produce software design and related test documentation.
A high standard of technical documentation skills.
A Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering. (or similar)

Duties:

Design and develop embedded software, providing a significant contribution to projects across the whole product life-cycle. You will get the chance to be involved in the specification, feasibility, development, verification, certification, and finally handover manufacturing and maintenance.
Provide Engineering support for existing products.
Mentor Junior Engineers as required.
