The role
The School of Education is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to make a significant contribution to the School’s BSc Psychology and Education programme, an innovative interdisciplinary social sciences degree, and play a key role in the delivery of Master’s and doctoral level teaching.
Applications are sought from candidates who have demonstrable experience and a broad knowledge base in developmental and/or educational psychology. In addition to teaching across our undergraduate portfolio the role holder will be expected to teach on our MSc and doctoral programmes. The successful candidate will teach units on Developmental and Educational Psychology, Mental Health, Core Skills in Educational Research and other units based upon area of expertise and current needs of the School.
The role is offered on a fixed term cover basis until 31st October 2024 with a start date of 21st August 2023. This post is ideal for individuals looking to further their teaching experience in an internationally renowned environment with a commitment to excellent pedagogical practice.
What will you be doing?
This is a Pathway 3 role, and the post-holder’s contribution will span teaching, scholarship, and administration, with a primary focus on teaching endeavours. We are looking to appoint an individual with experience of teaching on successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and ideally with supervision experience. The successful candidate will engage with, and contribute to, the intellectual life of the School, and we welcome applications from candidates who have interests that complement our existing strengths.
