Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a 0.5 FTE permanent Lecturer in Performing Arts.
The successful candidate will have course leader responsibilities on our level 2 and level 3 Performing Arts courses which are approved by the University of Arts London.
The successful candidate will specialise in either Acting or Dance, or both and will work alongside the wider performing arts team to develop the students’ knowledge, skills and behaviours, and to prepare them for progression into the Performing Arts industries. They will be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of high quality teaching and learning whilst also supporting the department with broader responsibilities such as interviewing of new applicants, open evenings, parents evening, taster events, shows and performances, internal and external moderation and maintenance of course/ learner records throughout the academic year.

Suitable candidates will be educated to degree level in Performing Arts or a related subject and have experience within industry practice. Candidates should ideally have a recognised teaching qualification. Applicants should possess excellent teamwork and organisational skills.

Please note, our Lecturer main and upper pay scale is £24,913 to £38,732, with further incremental points for subject leader/additional responsibility.
