About the role:
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is one of the UK’s leading attractions, with a wealth of rides and attractions. We are currently seeking a Painter in our Pleasure Beach Studios department, to help with visual and preventative maintenance of the 42-acre site and its attractions.
The work can vary from the preparation and painting of ride chassis and steel hardware through to the refurbishment of benches, furniture, walls and fences.
Alongside the rest of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the presentation of the park is maintained to the highest standards via our winter and summer work programmes as well as non-routine works.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to communicate clearly in writing and orally to management when required.
- Willingness to undertake staff training and development as required.
- Flexible with time and able to work weekends/bank holidays as and when required.
Skills:
- Previous experience in painting, including a thorough understanding of the importance of preparation.
- Experience in painting systems such as ‘two pack’ and understanding in the use of primers.
- Understanding of the correct preparation and paint products on different materials and surfaces.
