Lecturer in Hairdressing. Hair and Beauty. Full Time. 37 Hours per Week. Permanent.
We have an opportunity within the Hair and Beauty curriculum area for a Hairdressing Lecturer to join our team. Your role will be to teach a range of students across different levels and courses, which includes Level 1 through to Level 3. You will undertake teaching duties including planning and preparation of lessons, maintenance of workshops, and provide consistent and reliable support that enables students to develop their skills and knowledge.
You must hold:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in the vocational area and be fully teacher qualified or be willing to work towards obtaining a teaching qualification.
- A minimum Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above, or equivalent).
The successful applicant will have the ability to work as part of a team and have excellent communication skills with a ‘can do’ approach. Experience of working with students and having an assessor award would be beneficial.
