Loughborough College Elite Sport is a highly successful department with over 2,000 learners. The team offers a wide range of provision from Level 1 up to Level 3, that includes BTEC courses and employment focused study programmes.
We are seeking to appoint a full time Lecturer to teach within our exciting new programme based from Loughborough University in London. This programme is a partnership between Loughborough University and Hackney Wick FC to provide a high quality education programme to support young talented individuals towards their next steps – whether that be in elite sport, further/higher education or employment.
The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed. Progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.
The ideal candidate will have arelevant degree and teaching qualification, and you must have extensive teaching and vocational experience in further education.
You will possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively with a range of partners. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. A knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies is essential.
