The role:

  • £22,581 - £44,442 per annum (depending on qualifications and/or experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach mechanical and electrical engineering on across a range of courses (level 3 to level 5)
  • Work with employers to monitor the progress of Degree Apprentices
  • Develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies, monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year
  • Make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area

About you:

  • Possess a suitable qualification (minimum level 6)
  • Experience of teaching a range related topics in a post-16 setting
  • Experience of working in industry
  • Possessing a recognised teaching qualification is desirable, not essential
  • You need to be an enthusiastic and committed individual who can engage, inspire and challenge all learners to achieve their individual potential
  • Good organisational and problem solving skills and will be prepared to work flexibly
