About us:
Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. We currently have a turnover of over £50 million making us a major employer in the region with approximately 1,000 staff. The role:

- £22,581 - £44,442 per annum (depending on qualifications and/or experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach mechanical and electrical engineering on across a range of courses (level 3 to level 5)
- Work with employers to monitor the progress of Degree Apprentices
- Develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies, monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year
- Make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area
About you:
- Possess a suitable qualification (minimum level 6)
- Experience of teaching a range related topics in a post-16 setting
- Experience of working in industry
- Possessing a recognised teaching qualification is desirable, not essential
- You need to be an enthusiastic and committed individual who can engage, inspire and challenge all learners to achieve their individual potential
- Good organisational and problem solving skills and will be prepared to work flexibly
