We are looking to recruit a leader in multimedia production to join our team of academics, creatives and practitioners working in the Communications and Media programme at London College of Communication. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and delivering creative and multimedia production teaching for content creation across platforms (e.g. creative writing, audio and visual, social media content creation, and digital and web based design). You will be involved in creative pedagogy and implementing an innovative approach to theory and practice in communications and media. You will join our team of academics, creatives and practitioners working in the Communications and Media programme at London College of Communication. The programme consists of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Advertising, Media Communications, Contemporary Media Cultures, and Public Relations. You will work collaboratively with course teams, deploying specialist expertise to develop curriculum and practice in innovative, creative, and critical directions. We have a commitment to building our creative capacity and your role will be pivotal in helping us to achieve this.
You will have specific focus on multimedia production, content creation, skills-based and creative pedagogy. Current specialisms may include but are not limited to: multimedia production, content creation for web and social media, immersive media technologies, moving image production, multi-platform storytelling, and their critical contexts. Industry and/or professional expertise including partnership and network building, collaborative work and/or mentoring are desirable.
You will proactively contribute to curriculum development and creative pedagogy that stimulate thought and practice and promote diversity and inclusivity.
