This new part-time (0.6 FTE) post is available from 1 September 2023 on a permanent basis.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
The role
The role of Associate Lecturer (Education and Scholarship) will include supporting the student learning experience using a range of approaches and modes of delivery appropriate to the teaching allocated.
As Academic Mentor on the Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging degree apprenticeship programme, you will act as first point of contact for students and their line managers working in a variety of healthcare organisations across the country, providing pastoral care and mentoring.
This role sits in the Medical Imaging Team in the Department of Health and Care Professions and is part of the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.

- Possess a breadth of knowledge pertaining to healthcare and be a confident and capable mentor, comfortable and professional when in contact with students and their employers.
