We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the school teaching team, with a primary focus on our undergraduate criminology provision, and the ability to contribute to teaching in one or both of our disciplines of policing and law.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of engaging, challenging and transformative teaching across the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the school. You will be expected to promote the delivery of an excellent student experience.

You will need to be educated to Honours degree level with a higher degree, normally at Doctoral level, in an appropriate or related discipline OR be able to demonstrate commensurate professional experience. Candidates on track to a doctoral qualification will be considered.
You will also evidence a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and learning and research with an ability to work on your own initiative as well as being part of team. You should also be IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and other packages.
The role will require the flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekend.
An experience of teaching in a Higher Education environment will be an additional benefit as would a formal teaching qualification or registered Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. (Advance HE)
