About the role
Preston College are looking for a Lecturer to teach Plumbing & Gas Levels 1 to 3 including T-Levels. You will teach adults, young people and apprentices the skills and technical knowledge to be a successful plumbing and/or gas engineer.
You will plan and deliver both practical and theoretical sessions to support your learners to achieve their qualifications. You will need to adapt and differentiate your teaching to ensure that everyone succeeds and positively progresses.
What we are looking for
We are seeking someone with passion, drive and enthusiasm to join our construction teaching team as we continue to provide the local community with learning opportunities that support their career goals.
The ideal candidate will be able to evidence their skills and technical knowledge of a relevant occupational area and will be qualified to at least Level 3. Experience of teaching or training in a further education setting would be advantageous.
A teaching qualification is desirable, but if you don’t have one and are willing to work towards achieving one then we will support you to do so, both financially and academically.
