The Role (Lecturer - SWAPS & Vocational Childcare/Health & Social Care - Starting Aug 2023)
£29,196 - £42,487 per annum including London weighting
The Faculty of Entry to Employment wishes to appoint a dedicated and inspiring Lecturer to provide high quality teaching to 16-18s and adults in a busy further education environment.
To teach Level 1 and Level 2 Childcare and/or Health and Social Care for JCP and Pre-Apprenticeships area of the department.
Permanent - 36 hours per week
Please note: The successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Skills and experience
The ability to deliver excellence in teaching and learning. Ability to relate to and motivate students from a variety of backgrounds and ages, and to employ effective teaching strategies.
- Candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification (Diploma in Education and Training (DET) or equivalent);
- English and Maths - must be qualified to a minimum of Level 2
- A demonstrable track record of effective teaching and delivering in the subject specialism.
