Job description
We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Lecturer B for the following modules:
- Audiences, Participation and Learning; Understanding Arts Policy and Management; and Inside Out of Culture (PG, level 7)
- 40h of teaching, and additional hours for dissertation supervision and second marking
- Teaching:
- Autumn term: two Thursday evenings
- Spring term: Tuesdays and two Thursdays evenings
- Summer term one Monday evening
- Dissertation supervision (spring and summer term) and marking support (autumn, spring and summer term)
You will have knowledge and experience of Cultural Policy and Arts Management specifically in audience education and engagement, participation practices and theories in the cultural sector and be qualified to the corresponding level of the award as required to teach (or demonstrate equivalent professional/industry level experience).

Remuneration
Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £66.70 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked. This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 7 and is inclusive of a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier’ which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties
