Our highly skilled and creative workforce is comprised of individuals drawn from a broad cross section of the globe, who reflect a variety of backgrounds, talents, perspectives, and experiences that help to build our global learning community.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a professional individual to join the cross-faculty Technology Enhanced Learning Innovation and Development Service (TELID) within the Centre for Fusion Learning Innovation and Excellence (FLIE). As a part of the team, you will support the provision of the technology enhanced learning (TEL) systems, educationally led advice and training needed by academic staff to support pedagogic innovation and enhance the student learning experience.

Working alongside colleagues in the TELID Service you will provide the operational delivery of a personalised and specialist TEL advisory and training service. You will provide advice and guidance to academic staff on the design, delivery and pedagogic implications of different TEL approaches and tools for effective, innovative, and accessible learning and teaching, including online submission, feedback and marking. You will support the development and strengthening of staff capabilities through delivery of a university programme of TEL training via various methods.

You will have proven experience of working with TEL theories, systems, tools, their varied applications, and potential for innovative practice, and of working in a team environment in which flexibility and adaptability are key approaches. You will be committed to working collaboratively with colleagues across the University, learning and applying knowledge of the TEL systems to bring together business needs, educational practice, and technological capabilities. You will have excellent team working and communication skills and be able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will be experienced at managing and prioritising a changing workload.

For informal enquiries please contact Tracey Webb, Learning Technology Team Manager [email protected].
