The role of an LSA can be a challenging one so patience, a friendly approach and a good sense of humour are required. A long with the skills to help the children learn and develop to the best of their abilities.
Elementa offer fair rates of pay, including paid holiday and free training.
Ideally, applicants should have good previous SEND experience and knowledge, particularly in SEMH and ASD/ASC, and how to adapt the education approach to ensure that high-quality learning still takes place despite not being a permanent team member. You would still be very much treated as a valuable part of the team.
