Here at Gousto we have a brilliant opportunity within our People Team as a Learning Lead! You'll be integral to the opening of our newest Fulfilment Centre in Warrington.
Reporting to our People Partner you will be responsible for developing an already thriving learning culture, where everyone of our workforce can thrive and do the best work of their lives.
Directly managing a 24/7 team of subject matter technical experts and working closely with our Operations Team, ensuring each of our colleagues receive an awesome welcome to Gousto. You will ensure our facilities are expertly led and all teams are set up for success to deliver operational excellence. In turn our customers will receive a Gousto box that has been perfectly picked and packed with care, love and above all, attention to detail! Core Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of high-performing subject matter technical expert Shift Trainers, who work across a 24/7 operation to deliver on-the-job training; supporting their continuous development and driving excellent team engagement
- Work collaboratively with the site People Partner to identify, build and execute a site learning plan to ensure all employees and agency colleagues have the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful in their role
- Design, deliver and evaluate a range of blended learning across multiple subjects, including onboarding, operational standards, safety, soft skills and leadership
- Own training and lead on learning and development for the site, having overall responsibility for including, learning pathways and coach/mentor colleagues to support career development and growth
- Organise and track training with exceptional internal and external stakeholder management
- Track all spend against the learning budget and provide relevant reports and dashboards to measure progress and evaluate the impact of learning
- Work with the wider Learning team to support the longer-term strategy and ensure a coherent approach across our entire business
- Support wider People team initiatives, including wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, talent management and employee engagement
- Support a ‘blueprint’ to standardise and ensure a consistent learning experience ready for the ‘factory of the future’
Who you are:
- Previous experience within Learning & Development as an Advisor, Specialist or Lead within an operational or customers focussed organisation would be highly beneficial although not essential
- Have worked in a partnering role, engaging a broad range of stakeholders from entry to leadership level
- Skilled in learning design, face-to-face and digital facilitation, with experience working across diverse audiences
- A fundamental understanding of learning methodology and current trends
- A delivery mindset with strong collaboration skills and flexibility to change
- Previous management experience is also preferred
