Human Resources lead the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We are currently seeking an experienced individual for this exciting new role as Learning Experience Specialist (Design)
As Learning Experience Specialist (Design), you will work within the Learning Design Practise to provide specialist design support for both internal and externally designed projects
In this role, you will:
- Work with the business, People Capability and Academy teams and external vendors to develop effective learning solutions that address business needs and create value
- Provide consultancy to scope out effective learning solutions
- Provide creative input into learning design solutions
- Create blended learning pathways/curriculums and curate materials where appropriate, refraining from new development when needs could be met via externally or internally available resources.
- Design solutions that meet our internal design standards as well as our HSBC Brand, Tone of Voice and Accessibility guidelines
- Ensure that all learning solutions take advantage of, and work, in our technical environment, including testing across multiple devices and platforms
- Design communications, presentations and other supporting material as required
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Expertise in Learning and Development, especially in the areas of learning design is essential
- Proven working experience in learning design with an understanding of learning methodologies are essential
- Excellent knowledge and experience of e-learning and digital platforms is essential
- Visual design skills and ability to storyboard are essential
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Ability to think creatively, developing innovative content is essential
- Professional Qualification in instructional design, educational technology or similar is desirable
- Ability to apply a customer experience lens to opportunities for improving enterprise processes, enterprise applications, and end-user products is essential
The base location for this role is flexible in the UK with regular travel to 8 Canada Square to connect in person on an occasional basis.
