We are recruiting for an experienced administration assistant to join our teaching team as a Learning & Teaching/Quality & Academic Standards Administration Assistant. This is a permanent post.
The postholder will work with the Learning & Teaching/Quality & Academic Standards Administrators, under the leadership of the School Office/Quality & Academic Standards (QAS) and Learning & Teaching (L&T)/Curriculum Projects Administrative Leads, to support the implementation of the School's Learning and Teaching Strategy, Policies and Procedures.
The postholder will work under the supervision of the Learning & Teaching/Quality & Academic Standards Administrators to support the effective delivery of BOS and BSc curricula, to ensure an optimal student journey. This will include the wide-ranging administrative activities and events relating to the BOS and BSc curricula and student related activity, such as maintenance of student records, timetabling, assessment, and recording/reporting of clinical activity, following School and University procedures and ensuring external bodies' statutory requirements are adhered to.
Your priorities will include:
· Provide a high quality service to students and academic staff using initiative and making the most effective and efficient use of resource
· Support basic financial procedures and procurement including providing support for staff waived fees accounts in accordance with the University and Finance Staff Travel Policy
· Participate actively in the roll out of the 4D curriculum ensuring flexibility while the transition is underway
· Support the implementation of process and procedural changes resulting from the Business Transformation project and other related systems
· Respond to routine student/staff/external enquiries on learning and teaching/quality and academic standard related issues
