You are a Leadership Support Officer who will deliver a first class, flexible, responsive and confidential service to Directors, across the organisation. Your role combines the elements of a traditional PA service with modern business support activities.

We are seeking 2 full time Leadership Support Officers, who will deliver a first class, flexible, responsive and confidential service to Directors across the organisation. The role combines the elements of a traditional PA service with modern business support activities.
A key source of support, the role is wide-ranging and varied. You will tackle everything from diary management, arranging meetings, producing presentations and reports, maintaining databases, minute taking and a variety of other business support tasks.
You will build extensive relationships across the organisation; have lots of opportunity to learn more about our work, gaining new insight and skills that will serve you well in the future.
What we are looking for:
- Excellent ICT skills and experience of using of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook, and using these tools to develop creative solutions to support projects and key activities.
- Experience of PA and business support activities to Directors in a large, complex organisation
- A good level of literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to GCSE including basic budget management experience
- Experience in dealing with difficult and challenging complainants in a calm and patient manner
- Experience in providing administrative project management support, including producing project documentation, and strong minute taking skills.
- Ability to liaise and communicate with others verbally and in written format, liaising with team members (including the senior leadership team) to challenge and influence prioritisation of activities and meetings and ensuring that actions are being delivered to time
- Awareness of customer needs and expectations within a business support environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable across a range of tasks, working for a range of people and providing cover for other members of the Leadership Support team when required.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
