What is the Engineering Leadership Development Program?
The Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) positions you to be an integral part of the STIWA engineering team. Participants will have the opportunity to create new products, technologies, and applications, and drive the growth of STIWA as a Controls Engineer, PLC Programmer, Electrical Designer, or Mechanical Designer.
ELDP participants are full-time employees with full benefits. This program is crafted to help you create a successful career path within STIWA.
The opportunity is a 2-year program International Rotational Program consisting of several distinct training sections for your future role at STIWA. Each rotation will be in a different role to quickly give a wider knowledge base to the business, processes, people, and products of STIWA Group. The majority of your time will be spent in the heart of Europe at our Global Headquarters in Austria. Once the training term has been completed you'll be able to rejoin us in Fort Mill, SC.
Responsibilities:
- Implement customer-facing features.
- Participants will have the opportunity to create new products, technologies, and applications, and drive the growth of STIWA as a Controls Engineer, PLC Programmer, Electrical Designer, or Mechanical Designer.
- Build scalable and maintainable solutions.
Program start date is rather flexible – Summer-Fall 2023.

To apply for the Engineering Leadership Development Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Majors: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field.
Graduation Date: Candidates must graduate by the program start date, but no more than one year prior
Minimum GPA: 3.0
It is required that applicants be legally authorized for employment in the United States or have a EU citizenship (preferred but to be discussed individually).
