Lead Process Engineer 6 month (Outside IR35) Location – Northwest Circa £45.00p/h - £60.p/h – DOE Process Engineering / Chemical / Design / Projects I am recruiting for a key client in The Northwest area, who are an engineering design consultancy focused on the process industries. They are now looking for an experienced Lead Process Engineer for an initial 6-month , to work within the Engineering function, working on a key project. For the position of Lead Process Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties: Responsible for providing engineering expertise and design of capital projects and significant modifications Team Management Design briefs, system specifications and documentation The ability to read or produce engineering drawings, P&IDs and trip schedules Checking and approving calculations, specifications and drawings prepared by other design staff Deliver projects, Liaise with key stake holders and clients Working knowledge of current legislation and statutory requirements including COMAH, HAZOPS, or other safety case regulations Leading and guiding Engineers, Designers, and Draughtspersons, including apprentices and graduates to make sure specifications are met Attendance to site and vendor meetings/inspections as applicable to work scopes Scheme design generation, calcs, and design risk assessments Reviewing & commenting on Vendor supplied documentation The successful Process Engineer will need to have the following attributes: Experience with Operation plants, Pressure relief, LOPA, SRS, Sizing pumps etc The ideal candidate will have a BEng degree in process/chemical engineering Knowledge of engineering Practices and Standards, Codes and Regulations and current HSE Legislation and Regulations related to chemical process A team player, a strong communicator at all levels, who strives for excellence Good team managment experince The benefits of this position: Working for a leading UK EPC organisation Highly challenging & rewarding process engineering project Working with a fantastic team, office based Outside IR35 established Working Monday to Friday I am looking to speak to talented engineers who are looking for a rewarding and challenging position.
