We are currently recruiting a Lead Planner for our client based in Aberdeen City Centre. This is a full time, role offering a 3-in/2-out hybrid model. A challenging and diverse role, you will have the opportunity to help provide a complete planning and project management service across a multi-asset Integrated Service for a major North Sea Operator. The role requires you to work closely and effectively with a variety of stakeholders to help develop and deliver an integrated planning system within our . You will supervise, guide and motivate the planners so that they are aligned in their objectives and provide a consistent, high quality service. All planners (asset planners, E&C planners and inspection planners) report into the Principle Planner . This role will be expected to undertake personnel management through the setting of objectives, completing appraisals and actively support in the development of the team and individual members. This role will also support the hiring process, disciplinaries, manage holiday approvals, sickness notifications and resource cover. You will be responsible for: Integrated planning activities across Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, Integrity, Fabric Maintenance, Engineering and Construction in line with company and client's business objectives Producing and coordinating functional and workstream input to the operational and TAR plans for inclusion into the overall integrated plan Ensuring engagement with key internal and external stakeholders for plan entry and execution readiness, plan optimisation and identifying potential SIMOPS clashes Timely preparation and issue of critical planning deliverables including but not limited to: Functional and workstream project schedules Manpower Projection Plans, and man-hour/manpower histograms Progress 'S' Curves and tabulations Short-term look ahead schedules Monthly progress report including narrative Analyse plan performance and trends, and share with management / leadership team Ensure the timely preparation and issue of a full suite of baseline planning and reporting controls Work within, and help to improve, the standard planning/scheduling procedures and protocols Lead regular schedule review meetings with the project team including schedule development and schedule risk workshops as required Produce current physical progress reports and final job statistics Maintain accurate schedule and control curves in an updated condition Analyse schedule trends and produce regular forecasts of schedule performance and issues for project review Prepare and issue project action reports to the ISC Manager/Project Controls Manager Provide overall direction and guidance to the planning team assigned to the Ensure that company maintains suitable and sufficient competent planning resources across the Desired Qualities / Qualifications Planning experience of a minimum 5 years in senior planning role Supervisory experience with at least 3 years track record HNC or higher qualifications preferred Primavera experience critical Organising, chairing meetings and presentation skills critical Business planning/Commercial awareness Facilitation experience desirable Procedure and work instruction writing experience desirable Team Recruitment
