Assystem are an Award-Winning International Engineering Design Consultancy who provide innovative and cutting-edge solutions. We have a number of UK based offices and a significant, loyal client base.
As our reputation for proficient delivery of complex projects grows even stronger, we have a need for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join us on projects based from Cumbria.
Flask Maintenance Rapid Improvement Projects
The current cuboid flask maintenance facility has a series of areas for rapid improvement to ensure that it can safely operator for the next 10 years. A series of minor projects associated with the rapid improvements have been initiated to deliver solutions to the facility. These areas are
- Provision of a new breathing air system
- Provision of a flask turntable for use within the paint booth.
- Safety improvements to the flask internal painting task.
- Provision of a paint gun cleaning and paint mixing booth.
- Provision of an operator change room for the paint room.
In addition to the above scope the Lead Engineer will be required to oversee a number of inflight design packages.
Ideally you will have:-
- SQEP Design Engineer
- Piping Experience
- CDM Awareness
- Commercial experience
- Nuclear experience
- Site Delivery Experience
- Inventor, AutoCAD Navisworks, MathCAD
Additional Information
Security Clearance:
Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
