About this role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Client Facilitation Associate. As a key member of the International Client Lifecycle Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for Wells Fargo clients, acting as a central point of contact and key liaison with other regional teams and business areas to provide accurate, transparent information and efficiency.

Your primary focus will be to orchestrate the end-to-end onboarding process, by gathering and verifying client information, overseeing client due diligence checks, and facilitating the account opening process.

This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders and operational teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

2. Documentation: Collect and review all necessary client documentation, including identification, proof of address and legal entity documents, to ensure accuracy and completeness before sharing them with operational teams for execution.

3. Oversee the due diligence checks on clients, including KYC and AML screening, to identify and mitigate potential risks.

4. Account Opening: Coordinate with internal teams, such as relationship managers and compliance, to facilitate the timely opening of client accounts and ensure all required documentation is in place.

5. Client Communications: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding process, providing regular updates and addressing any queries or concerns they may have.

6. Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and report any suspicious activities or red flags identified during the onboarding process, in accordance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

7. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the client onboarding process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

8. Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on client onboarding procedures, ensuring a consistent and efficient onboarding experience for all clients.

9. Ad-hoc Support: Support any ad-hoc projects as required to support the overall client experience.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in Institutional Investment Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Skills:
  • Experience: Prior experience in client onboarding, KYC/AML, or banking operations.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to client onboarding, KYC and AML. Familiarity with banking products and services is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and verifying client documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues during the onboarding process.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with banking software and systems.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders across the organisation to deliver client centric execution.
