We’re looking to recruit a Lead Data Analyst for an award winning, full service creative agency. Specialising in content creation and brand activations, the agency works with an enviable client portfolio in the entertainment, lifestyle end FMCG space.
This role will be a key point of contact and spark of creativity in regards to how the business uses and sells data, insight and emerging technology services. Data driven campaign strategy is a fundamental agency tool and you will be the key aggregator and creator of many strategies that use data to provide interest and evidence for an ensuing set of decisions. The ideal candidate will be someone who is excited by using data in a wide variety of ways to add value, interest and fun to day-to-day life. Technically proficient in the key areas and able to add a layer of creativity, with the capacity to communicate their findings.
The agency has established a very active and engaged data driven culture. Data now permeates a huge scope of day-to-day decisions as well as a raft of different deliverables. From crafting compelling narratives and strategies to unlocking the power of campaigns or capturing new business. Delving into social listening to develop the best insight that can become the best content idea. Creating live dash boards that impress clients and earn internal working improvements. Providing the audience insight and optimal story that allows any single piece of content to perform at its best. Providing immaculate global reports to a variety of stakeholders. Inventing increasingly elaborate models for doing sports sweepstakes etc…
This role will suit candidates who thinks commercially, particularly in identifying new opportunities and working with the client service leads to carve out new lanes of revenue and interest for existing clients. You’ll take the opportunity to share, however you see fit, the power of data, training other people on key tools and evangelise how that can help the business.
You should demonstrate strong data analysis and statistical skills: MS Excel and Google Sheets essential. Desirable: Python (familiarity/experience), Statistics (running successful tests, calculating statistical significance and using a wide array of measures), Data Science (understanding the data science methodology and how it ladders up to pertinent insight), SQL/Postgre SQL (experience working with relational and non-relational databases via these core languages).
Reporting and or data visualisation skills: MS Excel and Powerpoint essential. Desirable: MS Powerpoint BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau.
Data storytelling: able to speak with clarity and confidence whilst communicating, not only your insight, but but how that compels the assembled stakeholders to undertake the recommended course of action.
Digital Media skills/experience: understanding of display and social advertising campaigns; their objectives, construction. Experience of being accountable for data reporting and insight. Desirable: Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics.
