The role of the Lead Product Owner
- Enterprise-wide observability platform built upon open-source technologies running in the cloud.
- Metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting system to improve the overall reliability of the enterprise.

- Customer centric: Capturing voice of business/customers
- End to end product management – defining product vision, creating product roadmap, product implementation, delivery and benefit realisation
- Set, prioritize, and evaluate the work generated by a software scrum team to ensure a customer-oriented product.
- Balance feature requests, tech debt, architectural changes in a prioritized backlog to direct engineering teams to create the best product.
- Become a subject matter expert so that you can work across the enterprise to field questions and feedback on how products are or are not meeting the demands of the customer base.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure prioritization of all aspects of the product.
- Manage the prioritization of the backlog.
- Work across the enterprise to gather feedback and requirements.
- Act as a key stakeholder in all agile practices.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure products are being built and delivered to meet customer demands.
- Own the roadmap, ensuring roadmap meets the needs of the development team and customers.
- 8-12 years of experience in software engineering and product management
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with and influencing across a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to deconstruct information into smaller categories to draw conclusions and leverage complex data to support decision making
- Understands distributed systems and modern application development practices.
- Understands iterative approach to development, incremental improvements over big releases.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate to diverse types of stakeholders (leadership, engineering teams, internal development teams)
- Deep understanding of scrum and agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with making and justifying decisions in an enterprise environment.
- Natural bar-raiser: curious and passionate, with a desire to continuously learn more, which you use to understand basic business operations and the organizational levers that drive profitable growth.
