About you
A registered AHP you’ll be resilient and ambitious with a wealth of experience working as a senior AHP within an Acute Trust, ready and eager for this new challenge. With an empowering leadership style and evidence of effectively managing large scale change, you’ll be focused to drive and improve performance.
An innovative thinker with a passion for contributing to research, you’ll be a natural at successfully driving a learning coaching culture. You’ll also hold knowledge and experience in workforce transformation and quality improvement, patient safety, recruitment, temporary staffing, workforce development and new roles with experience of understanding workforce data and writing workforce reports.
Inevitably, you’ll carry a vibrant ‘can do’ attitude and mirror our values perfectly, with the skill and flexibility to operate at a fast pace and overcome challenges readily, positively and collaboratively. Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills will be imperative to your success.

We’re looking to appoint an established and talented senior Allied Health professional to lead on the delivery of the professional AHP agenda with a specific portfolio for workforce and professional educaiton.
Reporting directly to the Head of Nursing for Workforce, the role has a specific leadership and management responsibility; ensuring systems are in place to monitor and continuously improve standards through developing our people and growing our workforce to provide the best patient experience. Representing the Trust on local, regional, and national groups to inform and influence policy relating to the portfolio, you'll act as a change agent for the profession within the regulatory framework.
What’s more, you'll provide professional leadership across care settings and be responsible for ensuring standards of AHP care are implemented in line with the Trust's objectives of clinical quality and safety. You’ll also play a significant leadership role in the development and implementation of group policies, leading and managing major trust projects which take corporate responsibility.
