We are looking for an experienced light vehicle mechanic to work on vans and cars in Southampton.

Ongoing contract. Experience of working in a busy LCV Workshop.

Typical duties include:

• Carrying out Service, Maintenance and Repair on a fleet of LCV Vehicles
• Diagnostics and fault finding of vehicles defects
• Following site health and safety
• M.O.T Preparations
• Following VOSA Guidelines
• Carrying out vehicle inspections
• Warranty work
• Workshop based or Roadside repairs
• Keeping up to date with product knowledge
• Completion of associated paperwork – diagnostics of basic auto electrical systems preferred.

Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as an LCV Technician/van Technician.

Working a shift rota including earlies, lates and occasional weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £27.00 per hour (all in rate).

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Southampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
