About the store
Specsavers in Farnham first opened its doors in around 2002. The store sits in a prominent position in the centre of the main high street, a short distance from Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.
Specsavers in Farnham pride themselves in ensuring that every one of their customers receives an excellent patient experience. The high levels of service and patient care have led to numerous positive customer reviews and an excellent local reputation.
This is 4 test room store, fully kitted out with the latest technology and equipment including OCT. There is also a dedicated audiology room providing hub services for spoke stores Alton, Farnborough, Fleet and Camberley. The store is due a complete refurbishment in 2024 so the new partner will have the opportunity to take part in the design and implementation of the refit.
They offer enhanced clinical services including pre and post cataract care, glaucoma testing and MECS/PEARS and DVLA testing.
A team of 32 dedicated and passionate colleagues call this store home, including a manager, assistant manager, 4 opticians, 1 pre reg and 6 HADs. There’s a great mix of experience within the team, with both newer apprentices and some have been with the company as long as 20 years. The team are really engaged, they like to socialise with each other after work, give great customer service and have high colleague smiles’ scores. The existing partners are both really engaged in the day to day running of the store and are dedicated to the clinical development of the team.
Location
The store is located in the busy market town of Farnham with a large monthly farmer’s market and recently named one of the best places to live in the Southeast. There’s something for everyone from bars, restaurants, an arts centre and leisure centre, independent and high street shops and plenty of green spaces.
With excellent transport links, there’s a mainline railway station within walking distance from the store where trains run regularly into London in less than an hour. Access to the M3 and M25 motorways are nearby.
