White Coad LLP is a well-established law firm serving the Oxford County and surrounding area, with offices located in Woodstock, Norwich, Delhi, Ayr and Stratford. We are committed to providing efficient and effective legal advice on real estate transactions.
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Clerk to join our real estate team on a full-time basis and to work in our Woodstock office.
The position involves managing real estate files from beginning to end and will involve preparing closing documents, coordinating with clients, lenders and other law firms and closing and reporting of real estate transactions and related administrative tasks.
The position requires strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:
- MUST have at least 3+ years legal experience with handling real estate transactions
- Previous knowledge of residential real estate transactions required. Experience handling commercial and agricultural real estate transactions would be an asset.
- Must be proficient in standard real estate software applications such as Unity (formerly Conveyancer) and Microsoft Word. Experience with Amicus and PCLaw would be an asset.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Law Clerk Diploma/Certificate is an asset
