Our laundry department keep our guests feeling cosy 24/7 with fluffy towels, fresh robes and lovely new linen. Guests will come to you for these essential spa creature-comforts, as well as other requests/requirements they may have, such as lost property or perhaps an extra pair of flip flops.

Main duties
- To ensure all robes are ready for the day guests/ new arrivals.
- To ensure all table linen is washed and ironed ready for the dining room.
- To ensure that all chemical bottles are monitored and changed as and when required.
- To have a working knowledge of all washer dryer programmes.
- To have a working knowledge and understanding of all chemicals used in the department.
- To have a basic knowledge of the Health and Safety and COSHH regulations relating to each chemical, its storage and use.
- To be able to prioritise and work under pressure, using ones’ own initiative.
- To have a basic product knowledge of Ragdale Hall.
- To attend all departmental meetings as necessary.
- To report daily any maintenance and upkeep problems to Maintenance/ the Duty Housekeeper.
- To report any accidents, mishaps or likely hazards.
Qualifications and skills required
Your ability to work within our friendly housekeeping team is essential. Full training will be provided.
Hours of work
14 hours per week working 3/4 shifts per week 10am - 2pm including alternate weekends:

Age 16-17 £7.64
Age 18-20 £9.00
Age 21+ £10.14
