Job description
We are looking for a Laundry Assistant Elderslie Nursing and Residential Care Home in Paisley to assist in making sure that the Home where Residents live is a clean and safe environment. It is such an important role and one where you can make a real difference to enhancing the life’s of others.
Your Duties...
- Being able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the Home, respecting Residents and their care
- Using a variety of cleaning products, ensuring COSHH regulations are applied (don’t worry you will receive training in this)
- Being comfortable communicating with Residents, their families and also working alongside Colleagues – good interpersonal skills are essential given it is all about the people
- Have an awareness of Health and Safety
Experience
We do not ask for experience of working in a similar role, previous experience is an advantage but it is not essential as we are looking for the right person to join our team. As the role involves working with vulnerable people your employment will be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, which includes references as well as a Disclosure and Barring Service Check/Protecting Vulnerable Groups check.
