Job description
Megazone is a laser tag party venue. The job available is one or two shifts per week, 6 hours per shift, on a Saturday or Sunday. Additional shifts may be available on weekday evenings Wednesday-Friday. Availability throughout school or university holidays is essential. You must be Leicester-based all year round and must be willing to work most weekends.
Your role will be hosting children’s parties, adult and teen events, family laser sessions, keeping the venue clean and tidy at all times, briefing and supervising laser tag games, assisting with catering duties, maintaining the arcades, keeping the toilets clean, restocking, selling alcohol responsibly, dealing with telephone enquiries, making pizzas, washing up, deep cleaning, keeping hygiene and safety records, handling money and most importantly, ensuring the best experience for our guests.
Your responsibilities
- being attentive and friendly to children's party groups, preempting customers' needs and providing excellent customer service to all ages
- keeping hosted parties on track and on time, delivering a professional service and meeting the standards and schedule we set out in our online booking info
- bring self-led and able to get jobs done during quiet times. Megazone is a large venue and there is always a lot to do for staff members with initiative
- coping with busy environments and several duties simultaneously
- planning ahead and prioritising tasks
Our requirements
- At least 1 years experience in a similar role
- Willingness to work weekends
- Confidence speaking in front of groups of children, teens and adults
- Bright, approachable attitude and a sense of humour - we are an entertainment venue and we
