PMF Ltd (Precision Metal Forming Ltd) PMF has recently completed the development of a new state of the art factory in East Lancashire.
Our aim is to become one of the leading providers in this industry with the most accurate cutting and folding machinery available.
Laser Setter/Operator
Our innovative and growing company is searching for an experienced Laser Setter/Operator to run our AMADA Fibre Laser and help out in the folding department as and when needed. The Laser Operator will be responsible for the laser production requirements producing conforming products to customer requirements.
Knowledge and experience with press brakes would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
· Ensure the quality of the cut meets the required tolerances and specifications.
· Prepare raw materials ready for cutting.
· Set up the laser as required to produce the high-quality components.
· Optimise programs for cycle time reductions.
· Organise and stack components ready for production or delivery.
· Daily maintenance checks.
· Be able to maintain a quick paced environment.
· Adhere to company Health and Safety policies.
· Detect and report any defects with the laser and material.
· Inspecting your work.
· Help out in other areas of the business if required.
Package
· Hourly rates starting from £13.50.
