Are you a mission focused Chinese Language Analyst? Join a team of dynamic Intelligence Community professionals supporting National Security Objectives where you’ll get to use your foreign language skills to research, translate/transcribe/gist, report, and analyze foreign intelligence. Utilize your abilities in cryptologic language analysis to process audio and/or graphic materials to provide key target insight to decision makers in support of SIGINT operations.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen
Active TS/SCI with Poly
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
In lieu of the Bachelor degree, an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted
Language test scores taken within the last two (2) years equivalent to the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Skill Level 3 in Listening OR Reading
Ten (10) years combined full-time experience performing cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience.
Applicable cryptologic language processing experience includes:
Relevant military MOSs: 35P, 1N3X1, 1A8X1, CTI, 267X or equivalent
Compiling and updating operational working aids and databases
Gisting of technical, complex, or sophisticated written and/or spoken material
Rendering translations and/or transcripts based on technical, complex, or sophisticated written and/or spoken material
Recovering essential elements of information
Scanning, sorting, and/or categorizing foreign language materials
Applicable related language experience includes:
Oral interpretation from target language to English and vice versa
Audio or text translation/transcription of language materials
Quality control reviews of translations, transcriptions, or reports
Mentoring language analysts in language processing
Formal instruction of required langue in platform and/or distance learning environments
Applicable related cryptologic experience includes:
Target development
Network analysis
SIGINT reporting
Speaker and/or language identification
Desired Experience:
SIGINT reporting
Target and network research, development, and analysis
Identification and characterization of Network Operations threat actors
