Matching Staff Solutions is looking for a Yard Assistant for our client based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. If you are experienced and have the skills to work in a busy environment and have “can hit the ground running” positive attitude, we would love to hear from you.

Job Description: -

• It is a fast-paced role and will involve multiple tasks.
• Role involves physical work and heavy lifting.
• Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck and or Combi to minimize manual handling (training can be provided)
• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products.
• Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work.

Candidate: -

• Must have experience and knowledge working with Timber.
• Experience working in warehouse and can start ASAP.
• Must show good attention to detail and need to be multitasker.
• Experience of manual handling equipment would be beneficial.
• Training would be offered including Forklift Truck.

Shift Time: -

• Mon – Fri, 07:30 – 17:00
• Temp to perm, 42.5hrs per week
