Job description
Total Instant Lawns has provided a premium sodding service to the Ottawa area since 2010. We are seeking reliable, honest and hardworking labourers to join our landscaping crews. Total Instant Lawns is a growing company with lots of opportunities to grow with us.
As a labourer, you will be responsible for working with your crew on the project for the day. Most projects will be resodding properties within the city limits.
If you have the right attitude we are willing to train and promote individuals that do not have the experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Arriving on-site on time.
- Operate various tools and equipment
- Work on all aspects of a landscape construction plan, such as installing sod, interlock walkways and softscaping.
- Comply with all company and regulatory policies.
- Ensure safe work practices
Qualifications:
- Experience in grading, sod installation, and other softscaping services is preferred.
- Good physical condition.
- Willingness to work as part of a team, and communicate effectively.
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Personal transportation required.
This is a full time contract position, estimated start date is May 1, 2023. There is a possibility for extension throughout the winter with guaranteed pay.
The position is Monday- Friday.
Total Instant Lawns offers competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience. Performance bonuses are given to reward exceptional work.
