Job description
Job Title: Yard Worker
Location: Preston
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4.30pm to 12.30am
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Person to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the yard and will ensure that it is kept clean and organised.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift truck (FLT) to move materials around the yard
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles
- Ensure that the yard is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels
- Assist with other duties as required
Requirements:
- Must have a valid FLT licence
- Previous experience working in a yard or warehouse environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
