We are working with an ever-growing multi-disciplinary practice offering a wide range of services across the UK who are seeking an enthusiastic Landscape Architect to join their Bury St Edmunds office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Landscape Architect to work directly with an extensive and diverse portfolio of clients. This team are involved at all stages of the design process from conceptual and feasibility studies, through to planning applications, detailed design, specification, implementation, and contract administration.
The successful Landscape Architect will be involved in all aspects of projects both small and large scale. Our client has a diverse portfolio of projects across predominantly strategic and detailed residential schemes. You will be working on a wide variety of projects giving you a great foundation of knowledge to build your experience and professional career on.
Landscape Architect Position Overview
- Involved in all aspect of projects working within the team
- Working on Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA)
- Creating detailed designs and layouts
- Preparing and organising supporting documents
- Producing hand draw and computer generated sketches
- Create construction detailing's
- Manage clients professionally
- Attending public, client and team meetings
Landscape Architect Position Requirements
- Landscape degree or equivalent qualification in horticultural studies, urban and land studies, or to the design of landscapes
- Positive can-do attitude with strong commitment to career progression
- Excellent written and verbal skills, as well as a high standard of drawing
- Basic AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop skills
- Revit desired but not essential
- Current full clean UK driving license
- Basic knowledge of Plants and Planting
