Job description
A large rail organisation is seeking Land Assembly assistants to join them on a permanent basis in the West Midlands.
This will be a hybrid working position.
The role is required to undertake land assembly activities, to secure land entry for work packages.
Main duties will include:
- Preparing acquisition and possession notices
- Managing daily progress trackers
- Maintaining a register of all notices prepared, served and returned.
- Ensuring checklists are completed correctly by suppliers.
- Quality assurance
- Preparation for meetings
- Reviewing of data
Skills required:
- Data management, including land referencing, data recording, analysis and assurance
- Ability to coordinate groups of stakeholders and agree requirements
- Ability to analyse and interpret data with a GIS and digital mapping environment
- Project management skills
Knowledge required:
- Land referencing, land acquisition
- Understanding of land assembly activities and compulsory purchase
- Knowledge of Registration of title (Land Registry)
Experience:
- Land referencing and assembly
- Experience of analysing and compiling data using database reporting tools
- Experience working within infrastructure projects, within highways/ rail.
